Alzheimer's runs in my family. I always knew my Grandma was going to have Alzheimer's. Growing up, it was something my parents remined me of . It's hard to remember a time where my grandma was herself. Someday my many of my loved ones may be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I hope through foundations like Walk to End Alzheimer's we can find a cure for this devastating disease.

I have been given the opportunity to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association again!

Alzheimer’s has had a profound impact on my life. From a very young age I have known about Alzheimer's. I knew my grandma would one day forget who I am, and that the disease would take her life. Although I was heavily prepared, no amount of warnings would ever prepare you for seeing someone you love so much forget all about you. Watching Alzheimer’s slowly take my Grandma’s memories and happiness was the most heartbreaking experience.

Hopefully through Walk to End Alzheimer's a cure can be found. As of right now, we can only remain hopeful. I know that in the future many of my family members are may be diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
