Ymmot's Team - That's Tommy spelled backwards!
Our Touching Hearts at Home Team is walking this year in the Peachtree City Walk to End Alzheimer's to honor Tom Anderson, who lost his battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He left behind a wife, 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was only 65 years old.
LBD is not a rare disease. It affects an estimated 1.3 million individuals and their families in the United States, but many doctors or other medical professionals still are not familiar with LBD.
It doesnt matter what the 'name' of the dementia is, we have to continue to help fund research for this awful disease. Monies donated not only go for research, but also to provide respite for caregivers. So very very important! Please donate if you can. If you can't, please join our team and please continue to pray for a cure so that generations to come don't have to suffer from ANY type of dementia.
