There is progress being made in the research area of dementia and although it may be too late to help some, the Alzheimer's Association is providing valuable assistance to many caregivers. A CAREGIVER of a person with dementia is a saint on earth, going through daily struggles to provide loving care as they patiently watch the disease take over their loved one's character.
I am walking this year for my North Carolina caregiving cousin Ben, and his wife Faye who has the disease that is taking her away from him. Walk with me in Cochran at noon on Friday October 13th at the Courthouse or at Middle Georgia State College, Macon on Saturday Oct 21st. Please contribute to this special cause and pray with me for an End to Alzheimer's.
