Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

This year I'm walking the 5K for Alzheimer's to remember "My Legacy". I want to end Alzheimer's in my family. This is very hard to witness. I know because I lived it up close and personal. I want to do what I can to help. I am currently in a Healthy Brain Study at Emory University which is looking for a cure.

This is in honor of my legacy: Elizabeth Collier (great aunt), Sevella Ardella Arnada Arnina Arabella Isabella Collier Turner (grandmother), Lillian Dorothy Thompson (aunt), Mary Elizabeth Oath (aunt), Laura Virginia Laws (mother), and Rhoda Violet Hart (aunt).

Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please donate or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
