My name is Ava Mincey. I am fifteen years old. I started a lemonade stand in honor of my great grandmother, Daisy Littles, who lost her fight Alzheimer's in the 2009. My lemonade proceeds go towards the Alzheimer"s Association to help researchers find ways to change the course of this disease! So far I've raised over over 10,000 for this amazing cause.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. I am very passionate about helping others. Please make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
