Alzheimer's isn't waiting! Neither am I! We are in the Era Of Treatment! On 11/2 I will be lacing up my crazy fun purple Alzheimer’s walking shoes and walking with Sigma Kappa sisters in the 2024 Atlanta Walk to End Alzheimer's. We will be celebrating the FDA approval of lecanemab to treat early onset Alzheimer’s. But there is still more work to be done. I am moving forward with fundraising to make an impact on funding research with the goal "to see a world without Alzheimer's and other Dementia". My Promise Garden bouquet holds 7 purple flowers honoring my family, including my Uncle Ki who was 1st chair French Hornist with the Chicago Symphony, our family friend’s mother Halina, a special neighbor’s mother and sisters of 2 Sigma Kappa sisters who passed from Alzheimer’s and early-onset dementia. The 2 blue flowers are for my Aunt Muriel and my friend's mother who have dementia.
Together, we can lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor. Join my Team to walk or make a secure tax-deductible donation to My Walk Page to advance the care, awareness, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Let’s See How Far We Can Go!
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's! #EndAlz
