The Emma Foundation was created to honor both, my mother Emma, and the struggles of caregivers. From witnessing my mother caring for her father, to me caring for her after she was diagnosed, the inspiration for the foundation came from wanting to break the cycle and to continue to spread awareness. Even after Emma's life was mercilessly taken from her at an early age and after being disconnected from reality, her love was always present. That being said, we are striving for the visibility and recognition of the work caregivers are challenged with, along with finding a cure for those living with Alzheimer's.

The event will take place Saturday, December 16th, 2023. Event begins at 8 AM, followed by a ceremony at 9 AM, and the walk will begin at 9:30 AM. 

We will meet at FIU's Riccardo Silva Stadium (Miami FL, 33199).
