This is the 5th anniversary of our team’s participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. 

My mom, Ixia, was diagnosed 12 years ago. While the diagnosis was not something we expected, we faced it head on, as a family, like we have done our whole lives. Mom is content and safe and loved and dad has been nothing but a loving and dedicated through every stage of this disease. Mom hasn’t lost her spunk, her humor and her ability to give hugs and kisses. 

Last year, with your help, we raised over $5000. This year we hope to surpass that and I am also serving as the Co-Chair of the West Palm Beach Walk on October 29, 2022. Please consider donating to help us find a cure and plan to come out and walk with us to honor my mom and the countless other families facing Alzheimer’s.
