Approximately 14 years ago, a very special and important person in our lives was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. In 2017, he lost his battle with this dreaded disease. In his roles as dad to Ellen, father-in-law to Bobby, and grandpa to Josh and Matthew, he was the person we called for everything. We needed advice...we called him. We needed something fixed...we called him. We needed support...we called him. We needed a hug...we called him. We needed someone to make everything all better...we called him. He was always there when we needed him and we want to make him proud, so we will continue to fight in honor of his memory.

As we have done since 2012, we are again taking a stand against Alzheimer's disease by participating in the 2024 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, and this number is rising. The Alzheimer's Association is dedicated to finding methods of prevention, treatment, and eventually, a cure for the disease. The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is a movement to raise funds and awareness to fight this devastating and debilitating disease.
