Hello! My name is Midori Kuehnast, and I am a part of Sigma Kappa at FAU! We are raising money for the fight against Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping, and neither am I. Since I was young, I’ve spent time volunteering at elderly care centers, including those dedicated to Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Watching the journey that patients and their families face with this disease has impacted me deeply, and it’s why I’m joining the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. My goal is to help fund research, raise awareness, and bring us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.
While I’m not walking for a specific person, my steps are for everyone touched by Alzheimer’s. I walk for the countless individuals living with this disease, their caregivers, and their brave families who support them every day. I’m especially inspired by friends close to me whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer’s, and I want to be part of the fight for a cure.
To me, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is about uniting as a community, sharing hope, and raising critical funds for a better future. Your support—whether through a donation or by joining the walk—means so much to me and to everyone impacted by this disease. Together, we can make a difference.
Any donation, big or small, means the world to me. Thank you so so so much for your support!
