On October 17th, 2020, we lost one amazing man and he took a piece of each one of us with him. Ellison was the absolute BEST husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and so much more!!!
I remember in 2016 when we first did an Alzheimer’s walk. Naomi set it up through her job and we were walking for awareness and hope that a cure would be found.
Fast forward to 2021, after losing a loved one to this horrible disease, we are walking again for hope that a cure is found and to honor the memory of our Grampy.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them.
