Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. If you believe this disease only affects the life of the one who has been diagnosed, let me be the first to say, you're wrong!
Please read the thoughts and words of Par Sahota as he reflects on the memories of his father Ajit who passed away last year due to Dementia.
As I sit here and reminisce about the times we shared, I am flooded with a myriad of emotions. Your passing has left a void in my heart that can never be filled. Despite the challenges of dementia, I cherish the moments of clarity we had together, the laughter we shared, and the love that always transcended the hardships. Your strength and resilience continue to inspire me every day. Though you may be physically gone, your spirit lives on in the memories we created and the lessons you imparted. Rest peacefully, knowing you are forever loved and deeply missed.
This year we walk in the honor of Ajit Singh Sahota. You may be gone, but your memory lives on through us and we will Remember For You. Every year we will walk in the honor of someone close to us who is living with or has passed away due to Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia. Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
