Update: We lost Mom to Alzheimer’s on January 26th of 2024. I am here to continue fight for awareness of this disease and advocate for others in her honor.
I am here for my Mom and for the countless of other people affected by this terrible disease. I held my Mom’s hands the other day and it hit me so hard that these were the very hands that cared for me and help me during some of the toughest times of my life. And now I am holding hers as she battles this disease that takes her away from us a little each day, each hour, each minute. I miss my Mom and each time I see her I just want to share my world. Instead I sit in Hers where it chips away at this amazing woman. Help me fight this disease. For my Mom and many others. I love you Mom and I will be with you through this whole journey. Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
