Tom was the man of my dreams. My soul mate and best friend. He loved life and all living things. We enjoyed our yearly trips to Jamaica, "road farming" and our nightly versions of "deer hunting." He enjoyed coaching football for many years. And for him football was a year round sport. Our son JD was the light of his eyes. He was so proud of him in every way. I know that he is looking down right now and even more proud of him for the wonderful young man that he is and the father that he has become.
It was so hard to watch this horrific disease take this wonderful man away from all of us. I am very passionate about the Alzheimer's Association and what it is doing.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
