Team Soph honors Sophie Michael, whose confirmed diagnosis was delivered in April of 2014, though the effects of Alzheimer's disease could be seen for several years prior. We are grateful to the Alzheimer's Association, and the Gainesville office in particular, for the amazing support, caregiver seminars, and art workshops provided. Her body finally succumbed to this horrible disease in February of 2018, and we participate in The Walk to End Alzheimer's in her memory. The fight rages on for all who continue to be affected, and the Alzheimer's Association is leading that fight. Won't you help us?
