Dear Friends,

Team Miliotes in participating in the Orlando-area 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's, which will take place in-person on Saturday, October 5. We'll walk that day to support this important cause. 

Last year, thanks to your help -- the generosity of friends, family, and co-workers -- we continued to be one of the top fundraising teams in Orlando. It would be great to have another record year, but we need your help, whether with a donation as a virtual walker, or in person at this fun and supportive event. We'd love for you to join us in whatever way you can. We’ll continue to raise funds and awareness through the end of the year.

The Miliotes family and dear friends walk not only in memory of our beloved Elaine, and her father, Jim, but also to honor and support all of our community who are impacted by the disease and other dementias. The Alzheimer's Association, which sponsors this event, is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research, and funds we raise will go directly toward supporting their efforts.

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.
