I am walking in Honor of My Beloved Mother, Irene Doherty, whose Life was claimed 13 years ago by Vascular Dementia. Mom was a phenomenal woman who placed Family and Friends at the Center of her Universe. Her numerous selfless acts of kindness are the hallmark of her Legacy. She was well educated, a wonderful conversationalist, well read, and kept her mind sharp and her body healthy throughout her Life, until……….this Horrific Disease.
