Laura's Girls & Friends is a team formed to honor & support Laura; maintained in Laura's memory & driven to support the cause and all those inflicted with this horrible disease; and now transformed & even more driven to honor & support Laura's eldest daughter, Ruth as she travels this unwanted path of Alzheimer's.   

Each member of our team participates in this event for their own personal reasons and together we support each other and our collective hope that Alzheimer's will, one day, be a disease of the past  

Alzheimer's has no filter - it hits anyone it chooses for reasons no one yet knows.  Alzheimer's begins by stealing memories and ultimately lives.  It is mean and unfair to those personally affected along with their families and caregivers.  It needs attention & research if the END is going to come and, for that, it needs funding.
