Welcome to our team page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! The Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. It’s held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year on September 28th in Washington, DC.
Aaron was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's in 2023. He and his wife Lisa are true partners in confronting this disease. Our team name is a combination of their last names and we walk to honor them. Together they are doing everything possible to stay healthy, improve cognitive functioning, and to stave off dementia for many, many years. Of course they are living with the uncertainty that comes with this diagnosis, but they also live with a huge amount of hope. As they navigate through this, Aaron and Lisa are helped by the great group of professionals they've assembled, by various treatments, and are supported by the love and caring of friends and family. They are excited to be a part of this Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease. You can make an impact with a donation or even joining our team. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Thank you for your support!
