Didn't we already do this? Yes, yes we did, and it is time to band together again for this year's DC Walk2EndALZ on September 28, 2024.

As most of you know, I bounce between my home (east coast) to mom's home (west coast) on a monthly basis. Despite the frequency, each trip reveals new challenges and stages of the disease. Anyone who has been touched by Alzheimer's knows that it affects far more than just the individual; it impacts the loved one's entire family unit. Everyone deserves the best level of care possible, but wouldn't it be so much better were there no Alzheimer's or other dementias? I have to believe that a cure will be discovered and I am committed to doing my part in making that a reality.
