The last few years have been difficult on everyone, but did you know that in 2020, COVID-19 caused a 19% increase in deaths related to Alzheimer's and dementia.  Receiving a diagnosis of dementia can be very startling and difficult to process.  With the right support, such as home care or a memory care community, the transition and progression of the disease can be made much easier.  Unfortunately, care costs are rising, and will continue to do so.  In 2022, it is estimated that dementia care costs will cost the nation $321 billion with a potential rise to $1 trillion by 2050 which less than 30 years away.  Join Always Best Care in our fundraising efforts to go towards funding for memory care, research and work towards finding a cure for the dementia.  On October 16, 2022, we will be walking to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and other dementias.  Please join our team at Rentschler Field in East Hartford as we Walk to End Alzheimer's!
