We, as an Ocean Meadow family, are no stranger to the struggles that loving someone with dementia brings. Everyday we see this disease steal pieces of our brave, kind, brilliant, interesting residents. While we try to live in the “now” and enrich the days we have, we must also fight for all the residents that are destined to come in the future, and for the younger generations that will face this awful disease. Let us join together as we always have, as an Ocean Meadow community, to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research. And let us hope for a future where no beautiful memory is forgotten.
