I'm walking again this year in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's in November in honor of my beautiful mom, Terry Malena. She was formally diagnosed just over 2 years with Alzheimer's and it has changed her life and ours so much. Everyday brings new challenges for her and so many more questions for us. Mom is a shell of the beautiful person she was a year ago. I can't do much but hold her hand ,try to comfort her when she is agitated , and most of all just love her. So I figured this walk is my chance to hopefully help others not have to go through what we are now! Mom fights hard everyday to make sure we know how much she loves us.

Alzheimer's isn't stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease - funds that allow the Alzheimer's Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
