In the United States, 6 million people live with Alzheimer's and over 11 million people (family members) are providing unpaid care to someone with the disease. These numbers reflect how this disease truly affects lives, and likely directly impacts someone you know.  

For this reason, I created the Friends for a Cure Team. I will be walking in the Denver Walk to End Alzheimer's on September 16, 2023. This is a 1-mile or 2-mile walk at City Park that truly makes an impact on all who participate, and those we honor. Wherever you live, you can join my team - you can walk with me in Denver in September, you can walk in your own city's walk, or you can choose to "walk from home" or not walk at all. By joining a walk team, you will help us raise more money and awareness for the wonderful things that the Alzheimer's Association does in the fight against the disease.
