I'm walking to honor my mom, Ellen Cooper. She loved riding her bike, reading, traveling, her many dogs, her family, and most definitely her grandkids. Alzheimer's snuck up on her, slowly taking away all the things she loved and then taking her away from us. We witnessed the cruelty of this disease, which never stops but just keeps taking, until there is nothing left. No one should have to endure this tragedy, whether from having the disease, caring for a sufferer, or witnessing its devastation on a loved one. I'm working to do as much as I can to #ENDALZ and I would love to have you join me as well.
