Pat was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in October 2021. At that same time the FDA released the first infusion drug, Aduhelm, shown to moderately slow the cognitive and functional decline of Alzheimer's disease. Pat received 21 monthly Aduhelm infusions, and has now transitioned to Leqembi, a newer and improved infusion drug. His neurologist tells Pat he is "THE CUTTING EDGE OF SCIENCE" as one of the first people in the entire Rocky Mountain region to use these drugs! These treatments have certainly slowed his disease progression and added months to years to his (and our) quality of life, also allowing him to meet a new grandson! These advances provide hope not only for us, but for millions currently living with Alzheimer’s disease!
These new scientific advances are only possible because people like YOU have generously donated to the Alzheimer’s Association through the years! Thank you!
We ask for your continuing support UNTIL A CURE IS FOUND!
This time it is personal!
Gratefully, Ruth
