I am participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's again this year in memory of my mom, Mary. She passed away March 3, 2020 from Alzheimer's disease. I decided to turn my heartache into a PURPOSE. I'm raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against Alzheimer's and other dementias...funds that allow the Alzheimer's Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. It doesn't only affect the elderly. Many people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s are showing early signs of this incurable disease. Families facing Alzheimer's and all other dementia need us now more than ever. If you are able to make a tax-deductible contribution, it would be greatly appreciated...no amount is too small. I pray and remain hopeful for treatments and a cure so future generations will not have to suffer from this horrible disease. It is my wish that one day there will be a white flower at the walk to represent the first Alzheimer's survivor.
