Alzheimer’s disease is relentless, but so are we! Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Everyone has their own reason for joining this cause. I have a very personal fight against Alzheimer’s as I lost my Mom to this devastating disease almost 4 years ago. In addition, as a dog lover, I have found a way to use that love to make an impact in other ways with my therapy dogs, Kessie and Oliver.
"Paws to Remember” is a team made up mainly of Therapy Dogs and their handlers. Many of us visit senior homes and memory care facilities that house Alzheimer’s patients. There is something very special about the unconditional love our dogs offer others that reaches through even the veil of dementia.
Whether your dog is a therapy dog or not or even if you do not have a dog, you are welcome to join us and Walk to End Alzheimer’s!!
