My Mother had a beautiful, kind, and gentle spirit. Each day this disease robbed her of precious memories. I loved the person in her body as I said goodbye to the person she had been to me, the person I had known all my life. I support the Alzheimer's Association because African Americans are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer's and Black women at a disproportionately higher rate. We need to find out why and develop a cure. #ENDALZ. Please support me in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's with a donation, just click on my link. If you are available Saturday, Oct 21, 2023, I would love to see you for our walk at the Harbor Plaza, Suisun, CA. Donate or join my team of walkers, Johnson's Dream Team, so that we can end the long goodbyes. http://act.alz.org/goto/chejohnson
