Team Stacey was started in 2017 after our daughter, Stacey Voorhees Harmon, was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 40. Sadly, Stacey passed away from the disease on May 3, 2021, at just 44 years of age.
Stacey vowed to live her life to the fullest through her path with Alzheimer's Disease, and with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh, the support of her husband, Keith Harmon, her sons, Sean (now 12) and Jack (now 9), and her other caregivers, she bravely did just that to the best of her ability. We miss her so much.
It is our love of Stacey and in her memory that we will continue participating in the Walk To End Alzheimer's to support the mission of providing funding for support and research to ultimately find a cure for this disease. We appreciate so much the love and support we have received from our family and friends as we continue in our efforts. We hope that you will join us on Team Stacey on Saturday Morning, October 26, 2024, in San Ramon, where we will walk around the beautiful Lake Annabel in Bishop Ranch.
