My grandpa (lovingly called Homie by our family) passed away in 2018 after struggling with Alzheimer’s for years. He was the kind of person everyone loved. He never met a stranger. He loved the 49ers. He could almost always find something to laugh about. He wore his heart on his sleeve and loved his family more than anything. He was my biggest fan and cheerleader from day one.
There was nothing harder or more painful than watching him succumb to Alzheimer’s. So in his memory, I’ll be participating in the 2024 Walk to End Alz in San Francisco. Together, we can and will find a cure.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your support!
