The Am Can Gang honors three amazing people, Ed Payne, Dorothy Roberts, and Charlie Pacheco. Ed had been living with Alzheimers for many years and passed away recently in February 2023 at just 70 years old. Dorothy Roberts passed away in December 2020 from Alzheimer’s after living with the disease for well over a decade. Although not typical for the disease, she was always smiling and was a favorite at her care home.  Charlie Pacheco lived with Alzheimer’s for two years before he also passed away in 2020. We cherish the memories of the good times we had with them before Alzheimer’s slowly took their minds away.
