Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are the Wallens. We are marching in honor of our beloved Maddy, in hopes that we can make a difference for future generations faced by this disease. I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia have seen the unthinkable, this disease is nice to nobody and the best thing we can do is continue to raise funds for the research that has already brought 3 FDA approved drugs to the forefront. These drugs can not cure Alzheimer's but they can give someone newly diagnosed the opportunity to get more of their life back by lessoning the symptoms of memory loss and confusion. Let's do more.
