This year is a very special year, as the FDA has granted traditional approval for the first-ever treatment for Alzheimer's disease. It's too late for my Grandma and my favorite uncle and aunt, who all passed away from Alzheimer's disease. But it is giving hope and more time to millions of people in the early stages of the disease. This is just the first step and much remains to be done. So let's lace up our walking shoes and Walk to End Alzheimer's again!
Together, we can lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivors by participating in the Silicon Valley Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®.
I'm walking in memory of my family members, and for the more than 6 million Americans who have Alzheimer's today. 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, and it kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. We can change this trajectory.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. If you are in the South Bay let me know if you'd like to walk with us and join my Willow Glen Walker's Team.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
