Dear Friends and Family,
As you all know this is our seventh year that our family is walking the Walk to End Alzeimer's. In the past few years I have heard and been touched by so many people who have either a loved one with the disease or have lost a loved one to the disease. The scary part is the number of people with younger onsets Alzeimer's - we are talking about people in their 40's and 50's in whom we are seeing increasing incidence of the disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia among older people. Dementia ranges in severity from the mildest stage, when it is just beginning to affect a person’s functioning, to the most severe stage, when the person must depend completely on others for basic activities of daily living. It is the only disease in the top 10 diseases that cannot be cured, stopped or prevented
We all have parents and grandparents who are very vulnerable to having this disease and with your support , I want to raise funds to support research for Alzheimer's. Not only that I want to ensure that I can enjoy watching my children grow and bloom.
Please take a moment to make a donation to this most deserving cause. I would be honored if you can make a donation or join my walk team.
