This year will be the 14th time I have joined with my colleagues, neighbors, and community for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Over the years I have managed an assisted living facility, provided case management in English, Spanish, and (very limited) Russian, facilitated support groups, trained community educators, taken nature walks, listened to personal histories, and so very much more. I'm fortunate to be able to share my work and spread awareness within the community--and I can do that because of people like you, and fundraisers like the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Please give what you can to help support our programs and services, which we have continued to offer throughout the pandemic and beyond. I'm also continuing to create one-of-a-kind keepsake blankets from your commemorative t-shirts or other favorite cloth items in exchange for a suggested donation through this page. Thank you for helping support the Alzheimer's Association and reduce fashion-based waste at the same time!
Join me today and help lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. You can sign up to walk with me on Team Purple Sneakers, or start your own team
