In July our family suffered the incredible loss of our dear sweet father who I called "Pop". Life will never be the same without him, his strength, his wisdom, and most of all his love. He had a big heart and enormous love for everyone.
It seems all too often when meeting or chatting with folks that more people either know someone who has the disease or they themselves are worried about symptoms they are experiencing. This is why this cause deserves everyone's attention now. More work needs to be done to fight against it.
Losing a loved one to Alzheimer's is devastating for the person who has the disease, for the family and for those providing care.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please donate or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your support!
