My Mom has Alzheimer’s, an incredibly cruel disease. She asks me, "When am I going home?" and I tell her "Tomorrow", because hope is all I can give her. Her Alzheimer's tells her that home is where she grew up and me telling her she is already home (her home for the last 12 years) makes her angry. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease.
