Growing up with two busy, working parents, I spent many days after school and weekend nights at the home of Ma, my grandmother. The two of us shared a special bond; from Ma, I learned to understand the ups and downs of the stock market, to never take "no" for an answer, and to enhance my wardrobe with bargain hunting buys. Then, when Ma got Alzheimer’s disease, she inadvertently taught me another lesson — how I, as one person, can make a difference for others.
Her memory inspired me to positively affect change for those with Alzheimer’s. By participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please consider making a donation — every bit helps! Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
