I’m participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® to raise funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease. My husband, Gil, has Alzheimer’s disease. He is a distinguished Professor Emeritus of Physics at UCLA and, until last year, walks in Mar Vista were part of his daily life. Gil now lives comfortably in a local board & care, as it is no longer safe for him to live at home with me.
On Sunday, November 10, 2024, Gil’s Posse will be walking in Santa Monica. Please donate to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
