Both my sweet grandmother and my Dad were unfortunate in their later years to suffer from it and also my mother-in-law. This is not something you ever want to watch your loved ones go through, it's just awful. Unfortunately for my kids, they have it on both sides of the family and those are not good odds. I'm hoping with strong support for the Alzheimer's Association, that this disease will be DEFEATED -  before it gets to their generation!

This year I am walking in honor of the many kind and patient caregivers that provide love and support for families with Alzheimer's/Dementia - what would we do without them!?!
