I am participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the second year in a row. This cause is incredibly dear to me and my family, and we are committed to making a difference in the fight against this devastating disease.

This year, we are once again walking in honor of my beloved mother, Lydia, who has been diagnosed with dementia. Her strength and spirit inspire us every day, and we want to raise awareness and funds to support those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. 

Just like last year, we will proudly wear red in her honor, symbolizing our love and commitment to her. Our team name, La Reina Lydia and her Gente, reflects the queen she is to us and the unity of our family and friends as we come together for this important cause.

Your participation means the world to us. Whether you join us on the walk, support our fundraising efforts, or simply send your love and encouragement, it all makes a difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s.
