In 2021, Steve "Shoe" Shoemaker began his journey with an Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis. Since then, the journey has been long and hard, but it's been made better by the family and friends who have supported and loved us. Our "Brain Gang" has been by us every step of the way.

Last year, the Brain Gang's first walk was incredibly successful - we were one of the top fundraising teams in Kern County and we had a huge amount of support at the walk itself! Let's take some more steps together at the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 19th. Last year, we ordered team shirts to wear - if you're interested in ordering one, please tell Teresa or Spencer by October 5th.  They will be the same as last year! You're also invited to wear purple on the day of the walk to show your support for Alzheimer's research.
