On February 27, 2020 Cheri was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.  Though it was devastating to all of us she kept a positive attitude.  Even with taking medication that altered her mind she was always aware of what was going on around her.  She still recognized her family and friends,  When listening to a conversation she would throw out some good one liners to everyones surprise.  She continued to have a love for music as she would alway hum or sing along to a song she recognized or would just start dancing spontaneously.  On the morning of March 11, 2024 her hard fought battle ended suddenly.  Her daughter and son could not be by her side as they were attending school.  Cheri being a teacher it was very important to her that they further their education and understood why they could not alway be around.  Please support Team Peppy Toe in their quest to #EndALZ so no one else has to go through this journey.
