Our dear sweet mama Angelina had a long 10 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease and passed away in April, 2017 with our family by her side. Our dad was a devoted loving husband and caregiver to his sweetheart and passed away in 2018 to be with the love of his life.
Team Angelina is walking again for our eleventh year with pride and love in her honor! This year will be on October 19th in Westlake Village.
Many of us have loved ones, friends & colleagues suffering from this unfortunate disease that continues to grow affecting us all. This disease not only impacts seniors, but is becoming more prevalent amongst younger people experiencing early onset Alzheimer's. Currently more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.
