I am walking in remembrance of my father, Peter Edmonds, who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2013. I participate every year with hope that each step will get us all closer to an end to this disease.
The walk will be held in Reid Park, and I will be there ready to participate for the full length of the event. During the pandemic, I took up rock painting, and discovered that a little rock can bring big positive vibes to anyone's day. I will paint a rock for each person who donates to my fundraiser, and leave them around Reid Park the day of the walk.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
