Jim Woodring (1923 - 2013)

Dad was always ready to lend a helping hand to any one who needed it. He worked hard. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - family, church, friends, fishing, hunting (aka "walking in the woods").

Alzheimer's stole those memories from him. He retained older memories from 40 to 50 years ago but he lost so many others. This disease is a thief. We walk to prevent others from having their precious memories stolen from them.

Mom will be 89 this year when we walk on Nov 2nd. It is truly one of her favorite days of the year.
