This year I am volunteering for the Alzheimer's Walk in honor of my brother Al Broene who continues to live his life to the fullest while experiencing the many aspects of Alzheimers Disease. Having Al, a close friend Judy and another family member experiencing this disease makes me even more determined to help raise funds for the fight for a cure!! I'm also walking in memory of my dad Ladd Broene and sister Ellen Doornbos who both lived with Alzheimer's the last years of their life. Having myself worked on a memory care unit as a nurse I also saw there how lives are devastated by Alzheimers. PLEASE join me in this fight with your donations if possible (every dollar helps) and your prayers for all those living with and/or caring for loved ones. This year our walk in Las Vegas is October 19 and my goal with your and God's help is to raise $1000.00 to help bring a cure and support families living with Alzheimer's.
