Good morning my dear family and friends. Hope you are enjoying the beauty of fall and the gradual onset of cooler and crisper weather.  Judy and I will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 19th.  My beautiful Mom passed away in July and was laid to rest, freed from the ravages of Alzheimer's.

This for us will be a Memorial Walk dedicated to her life.  It will be our last team effort, but we'll continue to donate to this crucial cause on a personal basis.  Last year you and other team members helped to raise over $6000--a very gratifying experience on what we can do together.  This year our target is $10,000.  Ambitious, but very doable!  The only hope in finding a breakthrough cure for Alzheimer's and other types of dementia is through aggressive public and private fundraising to support ongoing intensive medical research programs and clinical trials.  

So, as we walk in honor of my Mom's memory this Saturday, let's team-up again in reaching our fundraising goal and in making Alzheimer's a distant memory.
