Two years ago, October 1st, 2022, my mom passed away after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.  Those of you who knew my mom as “Shirley”, knew her to have a beautiful smile and a giving spirit.  She was vivacious, happy, and talented in so many ways! I was so blessed to have a mother that loved me the way she did, and it was painful to watch her decline until she no longer recognized me.   She was robbed of her memories and her dignity.  

In memory of my mom and to honor and remember all of those affected by this horrible disease, I have formed a team to participate in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” annual walk in Little Rock this November 9th, and I’m raising money to help us find new treatments and with hope--someday a cure. 

If you can join me to walk or want to donate, please click on either link on this page or print off the "Mail-In Donation Form" if you prefer to send a check.   You can walk/donate for my mom, or for your mom, grandmother, spouse, sibling or friend--anyone that you love that suffers or died from Alzheimer’s.   The thing about Alzheimer’s is that sooner or later, it will touch us all in some way.    Together can make a difference for the future!   

My goal is ambitious-- to raise $6500 for this walk and we are on the home stretch! I hope you can help me reach my goal.  A $25 contribution would help tremendously!
